| Dr. Richard
Vaughan | | A Note from Dr.
Hammonds... Recently a well established minister of the
gospel in our area retired from his role as Senior
Pastor of Fletcher Emanuel Church Alive where he served
for thirty two years. Along with this new day in his
life came a renewed calling and commitment to his first
love, that of evangelism. I have known Pastor Richard Vaughan for more than
twenty years and I am a witness to his passion for
souls. In just three recent services in our
church and our area churches, forty six
people have been born again as Pastor Vaughan graciously
presented the gospel and gave the invitation! There is a
special anointing for reaping the harvest on
this man of God. Robert Morris, Senior
Pastor of Gateway Church, who is a long time
personal friend and associate of Pastor Vaughan,
writes: "I have known Richard Vaughan for over 25
years, and I've never known a man that has more of a
passion to win people to Christ. He has one of the
greatest reaping gifts I have ever seen. He has an
anointing from God to see many, many people saved and
believers ignited to win the lost."
I encourage everyone to take advantage of the
opportunity to invite Pastor Vaughan to be a part of
your church's 2009 evangelistic effort. He is
available to come on a love offering basis. You
can contact him directly at 409-656-4703 or ranthony@yahoo.com
or book him through our KE Resources Executive Director,
Treasure Francis, at 409-729-4915 or email treasure@keresources.com.

| | | New Church Plant in Cleburne,
TX |
| | Pastor Kevin and Vida
Jones | As many of you know, we are transitioning to
Cleburne, TX, where we are starting a brand new church
plant! For the past ten years I have heard Pastor Ron
say that, "The journey is your friend…for it is the
journey which prepares you to operate at destiny
capacity." I understand this now more than ever. It
is the God journey which I have been on that has
prepared me for the destiny God has given me. Being called to go to Cleburne and start Turning
Point Church is the strongest anointing for any one
thing that I have experienced in my years of ministry. I
am certain that countless lives will be saved, families
will be made strong and borders will be crossed and the
good news delivered. I am enthused, excited and
energized for the future! We have already begun the process of laying the
foundation in Cleburne. God has been blessing us with
favor and creativity in the birth of this church. We
started by creating a MySpace page for the church with
just one paragraph on the page saying, "A new exciting
family church is coming to Cleburne, Texas. If you would
like to know more about it then add the church as a
friend". After only six weeks the page has added 200+
friends. Since that time we have held interest meetings
and on Saturday night, January 17th, we will have our
last and final interest meeting in Cleburne. We will be
meeting at Grace Awakening Church, renting their
facilities on Saturday nights for services. Saturday
night, February 21st will mark the start of our church
services. We will have weekly services on Saturday nights for a
few months and then switch to Sunday mornings. We'll
begin mid week services in the summer. We are in the
process of trying to find a Praise and Worship leader.
The church is really receiving a warm welcome in the
community. We have had two different churches offer us
space to use to start the church. The newspaper has had
two articles on the new church already! In December we
took 81 boxes of assorted desserts to every member of
the local police department including their support
staff. We did this as a show of appreciation for their
service. This was really great public relations with the
city! Please pray for us! I am also excited about the future of COTR in
Conroe. On Sunday, January 4th, we set Kevin and Valerie
Overbeck in as Senior Pastors of the church there.
Pastor Kevin Overbeck has exhibited a real passion for
the people, he has a clear vison for the future and most
importantly a willingness to paticipate in the plan that
God has. He also has a desire to partner with all of our
family of churches and pastors and develop long lasting
relationships that together we can expand the
Kingdom. | | | Church on the Rock
Sour Lake,
TX | We are glad to report that
the church is doing well and we are looking ahead
to a great new year. We had 32
in attendance the last Sunday in
December.
It has
been great to see mature and selfless
Christian love in action in and through our
church members. Recently our church
body rallied around and really ministered to
a family who had lost a loved one. We
also reached out to help a local
organization. Caring
Christians Sharing is a Christian ministry in Sour
Lake that helps feed the poor and those who might
be struggling with bills, food, etc. Our church
had a fund raiser for their "Toys for Kids"
program which raised over
$500.00!

| | Ralph & Annie Dryden,
Thailand | Our
Christmas service was an awesome time
in the Lord. The sanctuary was full to the
brim with standing room only. The worship was
great and God moved in many ways. Several
people were healed in the morning
service. Altogether in the day there were
12 people that gave their lives to
Jesus! Thanks to the special gifts and your
monthly support, we also were able to give
Christmas bundles to over 60 children.
We
are excited about what God is going to do
this next year. We can just feel the
sense of revival coming in 2009. Please
pray with us for God to open the doors of heaven
and move through our area with a great
harvest being reaped. I have uploaded
pictures from distributing the Christmas Bundles
and the service to our blog site. Just go

| Kyle Trahan, Columbia,
South America | | We
serve an amazing God. 30 souls have
accepted Jesus and repented
of
their sins since my return. When I arrived
back in Columbia in September I began to
notice a greater outpouring of God’s
Spirit
when I
would pray for people.
I have
begun to teach an evangelism class. We have had
three classes so
far. The purpose of this group, called
"Fire Evangelism," is to experience God
in a personal way, to go deeper
in relationship with the Holy Spirit, to go
out into the streets full of God, and
to reach the broken
and hurting with the love of God and with the
message of the gospel. I share the word for a
few minutes then we go out in the streets in
groups of two and look for people to share
the gospel with. I put a major emphasis on the
healing power of God so that we might reflect
the ministry of Jesus. We have already seen a
few people healed.
I
preached in Spanish for the first time recently
and afterward the presence of God moved through
the church in a greater way than I have ever
seen through my own ministry!
Thank
you for your support and prayers. My prayer
for you is that Christ would release to you
spiritual gifts which make an eternal
difference. I love you
all.

Pastor Tej Rokka,
Nepal | | On
behalf of our ministry here in Nepal, SARA
Children's Home, and my
family, I would like to say thank you all -
especially to KE Resources, and all the churches
and individuals who
are
supporting and praying for
us.
We have begun this
new year
with new passion for the Kingdom of God.
After I returned from ministry and fund raising
in the USA, we baptized 14 people and 15
new people accepted the Lord as we
preached the gospel this Christmas
season! We have
also continued our village outreaches, and
purchased some winter clothes for the children
at our Children's
Home.

| Mike & Jude Kelly,
Iloilo,
Philippines | |
We want to thank you for your thoughts and
prayers during this Christmas season. Christmas
here in ILOILO was such a blessing for us. We
celebrated it with all 174 of our Sonshine
Center Kids Club and with all
58 of our Mom's Club.
A local restaurant donated the food for
the kids and Jude and the staff cooked for
the Mom's Club. All the Kids and mom's received
special Christmas presents. All the moms
love Jude and gave her a big Christmas hug.
Coming from the Gulf Coast of Texas we know
about Typhoon/Hurricanes. Typhoon Frank was an
especially bad storm. We were introduced to
56 families with a total of 100 Children at
the San Isidro Relocation Site who had lost
everything. We will be seeing to their
needs; medically, physically, and spiritually.
They have endured much. For more updates and
pictures, please check out our blog at: http://mikejudekelly.blogspot.com/. | |
