Daily Devotionals and RU100%SURE? Translations!
|
Please keep an exciting project in your prayers as KE Resources makes
available daily devotional material to countries around the world.
We are
currently working with seven in-country team leaders to have these daily
devotions, which are written by Pastor Ron Hammonds, translated and printed in
each of these host countries.
These resources, which facilitate daily prayer
and Bible reading for church members and leaders alike, are already proving to
be invaluable. Even the translators are commenting on their growing excitement
to participate in making available this book which will both challenge and
encourage Christians in their communities.
Some of the languages we will be
providing include: English, Arabic, Nepali, Swahili, Hindi, Russian, Thai, and
the number is growing!
In addition to this project, we are also currently
working on supplying Pastor Tej Rokka of Nepal with the printing of a translation of the
RU100%Sure? material. This translation has the potential to reach a projected
50,000 people who are lost without Christ! What a significant difference one
translation can make! |
North Church Facilities Now Fully Recovered from Hurricane IKE and Growing!
|
Though the
necessary post-Hurricane Ike  remodeling and restoration of our facilities has
been challenging, it has finally come to a close and our vision and
focus can be redirected to the more weighty and important
purpose of expanding God's Kingdom here in Southeast Texas as well as around the world.
In
fact, this past month has produced some very visible and encouraging fruit.
Last Sunday six adults made very real commitments to Christ, many more joined
COTR North and a fresh wind of the Spirit seems to be blowing upon our weekly
services. New faces are showing up on a weekly basis and many of them are in
the College & Career age group!
One of our new young men was
recently overheard telling one of his invited guests, "Yeah man, I love
this church!" Our new members and return guests are, in fact bringing
their friends and family. With this fresh new momentum building around us, we
are believing and now preparing for greater and more impacting days ahead.

| Truth for Today |
This July
episode of Truth for Today is geared toward helping leaders make tough
decisions. Dr. Hammonds encourages pastors and missionaries throughout the
world to recognize that "failure is not defeat" and sometimes we simply need to
"possess a high tolerance for experimentation" to see success. We hope you are
blessed with new insight as you gain confidence from the Word of God and the
simple truths outlined in this segment.

Agua Resources Drills Five Wells in Mexico

 Agua Resources is glad to report that our two teams in May and June drilled a
combined five high producing water wells in five different schools around the
Atoyac area of Mexico.
Trips are now being booked for
the Fall as well as 2010. If you are interested in booking a team to join us

Missions Trip to Yoshkar-Ola Christian Center, Russia

Pastor Ron and Brenda Hammonds and Associate Pastor Robert and Charlotte
Benlien just returned from visiting Yoshkar-Ola Christian Center - a church
planted in 1993 in Russia when Golden Triangle Church on the Rock took on the challenge of
establishing a church in this region of Russia that had no gospel
witness.  Yoshkar-Ola
is a city of approximately 350,000
people about 400 miles northeast of Moscow. Yoshkar-Ola Christian
Center (YOCC) continues to multiply itself throughout
the Mari El Republic and beyond. There are now three churches that have
been
birthed from YOCC and another church will begin in August in the
city of Kazan,Tatarstan, a predominately Muslim city of 1.5 million
people located south of Yoshkar-Ola.
 The
Hammonds and Benliens were able to spend time mentoring leadership and
ministering one on one to many on the church members. The Benliens, who
were the missionary pastors of YOCC for the first three years, reported
that each time they return it is like a homecoming because many of the
church family are like their own children. The presence and ministry of
Pastor Ron and Brenda meant a great deal to the people and church
leaders, a number of whom were just teenagers when the church began.
 Pastor
Sergei is the Senior Pastor of YOCC and though a young man, God
has established him as a man of wisdom and vision in
reaching Russia
with the gospel. Please continue to offer your prayers to God that Yoshkar-Ola Christian Center
continues to be a bright beacon of hope in Christ and that all of Russia be
saved!
